I stayed at Tourist Hotel for 3 nights in Doha. Walking distance (if long) from the souq and restaurants, across from a bank (helpful for ATM). Lobby was beautiful and room was large, attractive, and clean. The front desk was helpful tracking down local attractions and timelines in Arabic for me.

I like this hotel. The location is perfect, very near to many attractions in Doha. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the price is very reasonable. Iftar buffet is average but with nice arrangment. It is very quiet and less customers. The cost is competitive.

This hotel has been arranged by Qatar Airways free of cost because we had long transit more than 8 hours. Short transit visa arrangement required about 90 minutes. The hotel is very near to the sea and souq Waqif. It was a big room for me and my wife, spacious bath room, tea corner and sitting...

I stayed there for almost two months. My impression is that it is a decent hotel for the money asked for the room. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast did not have a variety and recurring almost daily. They were kind enough to change the breakfast time to an earlier one when I needed to. The Wifi...
